Experiences on Offer

I'm always happy to create a custom cooking class menu tailored to your tastes and dietary needs. To get your ideas flowing, though, here are some of my most popular menu options.

Traditional Tuscan

All about the Florentine pantry, this class will teach you how to cook with the seasons and recreate some of your trattoria favorites at home.

Sample menu: Coccoli (deep-fried dough bites) with prosciutto and stracchino cheese + Pici al fumo (hand-rolled pasta with creamy vodka sauce, bacon, and rosemary) + Vin Santo poached pears with whipped mascarpone and crumbled cantucci

Updated Italian

Travel up and down the boot, from the wine bars of Venice to the street food stalls of Sicily, in this classic Italian cooking class with a contemporary twist.

Sample menu: Panelle (Sicilian chickpea fritters) with caper aioli + Green basil orecchiette with tri-color tomato sauce + Chocolate hazelnut tiramisu

The Modern Pantry

This Italian fusion lesson is inspired by my time in culinary school, where I learned classic Tuscan dishes in class along with many new recipes from my very international group of classmates.

Sample menu: Mexican-style fried zucchini flowers with spiced corn and salty ricotta + Homemade gnocchi with miso-lime butter and caramelized leeks + Tea-ramisu with chai-infused mascarpone cream

Bailey, corporate virtual class

"Cooking with Sara for our office event was such a blast! Office events can sometimes be a bit awkward with so many people doing one virtual activity, but Sara got everyone chatting and having a great time. And the pasta was incredible - my roommates and I made it again a few days later. 11/10!!!"

Holly, couple's class

"10,000% recommend! Sara was such an amazing instructor and designed such a unique and fabulous menu for us. Her instruction was extremely detailed and informative, but she also made the class super fun. The food turned out AMAZING and it was such a wonderful night we always look back on."

Gina, private catering

"Sara catered my 30th birthday, which also happened to be the first time my family met my fiance's Italian family. The menu was brilliant and united our families in the most memorable way. My fiance's mom (who is a professional chef) was blown away—that's when you know—and my family said it was the best meal of their 3-week trip. Go with Sara for your special occasion!"

Blair, group class

"Sara is such an amazing chef! I hosted a pasta class with her after taking her Valentine's Day one and it was amazing. Her Fumo Pasta recipe was delicious. She was so nice and easy to learn from, plus the recipe was easy enough that I've been able to repeat it several times. I can't wait to take a class with her again."
