Cook and eat with me!
If you love to eat, you're in the right place.
Whether you'd like to roll up your sleeves for a pasta-making lesson or sit back and let the food come to you, there are 3 main ways to enjoy my cooking in Florence, Italy:
Cooking classes: For a fun, informative-yet-informal activity between church visits and museum hopping, join me for a hands-on cooking lesson in my Florentine apartment. More info below...
Catering: If you're visiting Tuscany and want to enjoy a home-cooked meal in a private setting, you can hire me to cater a lunch or dinner party — either at my house (small groups only) or at your apartment or villa rental within driving distance of Florence. I can also assist with renting a dining space in central Florence. Rates vary based on group size and number of courses, so please email me for more information!
SAPORITA: SAPORITA Supper Club fuses Italian classics with international cuisines (from Mexican to Korean to Hawaiian) and takes place at an art gallery. Reservations are capped at 24 people, so this unique night out is a fantastic way to make friends if you're spending an extended time in Florence. To hear about the next one, email me or follow SAPORITA on Instagram.

What We'll Make
My menus lean both traditional Tuscan and contemporary Italian, which means we’ll learn recipes from the trattorias of Florence with special twists inspired by other regions of Italy. We’ll always use seasonal ingredients—freshly shelled peas and broad beans in the spring, sweet tomatoes and stone fruit in the summer, Tuscan kale and pumpkin in the fall, and so on. Our 3-course menu will always include a fresh pasta dish, plus 2 other courses of your choice between an appetizer, main, and/or dessert. The best thing about a private cooking class, though, is that the menu is tailored to your tastes! When you fill out your booking request, I’ll ask for your dietary restrictions, food preferences, and cooking interests. A few weeks before your class, I’ll send you a customized menu proposal for your approval. Can't wait to meet you!

Testimonials
Bailey, corporate virtual class
"Cooking with Sara for our office event was such a blast! Office events can sometimes be a bit awkward with so many people doing one virtual activity, but Sara got everyone chatting and having a great time. And the pasta was incredible - my roommates and I made it again a few days later. 11/10!!!"
Holly, couple's class
"10,000% recommend! Sara was such an amazing instructor and designed such a unique and fabulous menu for us. Her instruction was extremely detailed and informative, but she also made the class super fun. The food turned out AMAZING and it was such a wonderful night we always look back on."
Gina, private catering
"Sara catered my 30th birthday, which also happened to be the first time my family met my fiance's Italian family. The menu was brilliant and united our families in the most memorable way. My fiance's mom (who is a professional chef) was blown away—that's when you know—and my family said it was the best meal of their 3-week trip. Go with Sara for your special occasion!"
Blair, group class
"Sara is such an amazing chef! I hosted a pasta class with her after taking her Valentine's Day one and it was amazing. Her Fumo Pasta recipe was delicious. She was so nice and easy to learn from, plus the recipe was easy enough that I've been able to repeat it several times. I can't wait to take a class with her again."
