Private Chef & Freelance Writer
Ciao! I'm a Texan based in Florence, Italy.
After studying journalism in Los Angeles and starting my career freelancing for publications like the LA Times and POPSUGAR, I realized I really wanted to write about food and cooking. And what better place to learn the secrets of the kitchen than Italian culinary school?
Off I went to Florence in 2019, and, no surprise, I couldn't stay away from Italian food. After graduating from Apicius, I became a virtual cooking teacher and pasta maker at Eataly in L.A.
In 2022, I moved back to Florence full-time, where, in addition to my journalism and copywriting gigs, I teach cooking classes and cater private dinners. I also started a supper club series called Saporita!
If you think we'd work well together on a story or project,
I would love to hear from you through LinkedIn or via email.
And if you're just here for the food, have a look at my Cooking Classes page to learn more!
